Diane was born in Belfast, and studied violin at the Royal College of Music in London, graduating with the GRSM (Hons) and the DipRCM (Teach).
She has performed in concerts with John Lill, Raphael Wallfisch, Pierre Boulez, Jools Holland and the Sadlers Wells Orchestra; recorded for BBC Radio 4; and toured with the London Arts Orchestra and Philharmonia Köln.
In Bermuda she taught for the Menuhin Foundation, performed with Lord Menuhin at the Bermuda Festival and led the Bermuda Philharmonic Orchestra.  As well as being a full time mum to two toddlers, Diane is a member of the Basingstoke Symphony Orchestra, Otto Voci (a choral octet) and leader of the Deane Sinfonia.
